Includes a small amount of miscellaneous personal material, such as passports and a university composition book, as well as newspaper clippings on the Soviet Union. With these are publications, most of which are children's books by M. Ilin, translated from Russian by Kinkead; a letter (8 p.) dated Apr. 29, 1906, giving an account of the 1906 San Francisco earthquake and fire, written by Tom Barnfield to his sister-in-law, Nancy Mann; and materials about Kinkead's sister, Grace Reynolds, dated 1868-1969, who was the first graduate of the University of California pharmacy school in 1899.
